The best entrepreneurs who implement investments in the field of residential construction will receive a new award.

The Architectus Civitatis Nostrae Award is supposed to promote Poznań as a city that cares about the quality of residential construction, and encourage new people to settle in the city.

The Jury will look for investments with interesting architecture, good functionality and urban layout that is friendly to the inhabitants. At the selection of winners, they will pay attention to achievements in the industry and reliability of contractors.

- Effective encouraging new people to live in Poznań is now the main purpose of our activities. Diverse offer of the high quality residential construction is undoubtedly a significant factor that influences the choice of a place of residence. The City appreciates and supports such projects - says Jacek Jaśkowiak, the President of the City of Poznań.

The award will be granted every two years, for the first time - during this year's Budma fair. Candidates for the award, along with substantiation, may be proposed by: entrepreneurs and their organizations, institutions, foundations and associations, social organizations, every inhabitant of the city, and the Jury. The members of the Jury - at the invitation of the President of the City Poznań - will be, among others, the representatives of the Poznań City Council, entrepreneurs'  organizations, associations of architects and urban planners, universities, social organizations and city movements.

Proposals submitted in writing or electronically should contain: surnames of entrepreneurs, short description including characteristic data of the implemented project, date of the implementation of the investment, description of land management, photos and the justification of the nomination. They should be directed to the President of the City of Poznań.

A deadline for sending the proposals for this year's edition is 20 January.
