As many as fifteen teams of world-famous sculptors presented their abilities during the 3rd Ice Sculpture Festival, the only such event in Poland.

The best sculptures in the competition were selected by a jury, with first place going to a team from the USA, Aaron and Sara Costic. Junichi Nakamura from Japan came second and Lora Dimowa and Georgy Velikov, a team from Bulgaria, took third place. The inhabitants of Poznan could admire works of the sculptors throughout the whole day, but sadly, because of high temperatures the sculptures lasted only two days.
