  • Learning from Nottingham's experience in conserving energy in municipal buildings.
  • Cultural events such as the Nottinghamshire week in Wielkopolski, the Wielkopolski week in Nottinghamshire, the Świętojański festival and Poznań's Bethlehem Fair.
  • Nottinghamshire County Council arrange a stand for businesses from the county at the Poznan International Fairs
  • Implementing Investors In People (IIP) standard in Poznań City Hall
  • Theatre exchange between Młodzieżowy Dom Kultury nr 2 and Nottingham Arts Theatre - common theatre workshops
  • Schools exchange between "The Brunts School" in Mansfield (Nottinghamshire County) and the Associated Music Schools at ul. Głogowska in Poznań (nearly 15 years in 2011); in 2011 a group of students from Mansfield participated in the 3rd European Youth Meeting in Poznań. Martin Heartfield, assistant head teacher, who came to Poznań with the students, was one of the initiators of the cooperation and its animator.

Co-operation between Poznań City Police and Nottinghamshire Police:

  • Participation in "Tackling Drugs - Reducing Crime" project, co - financed by the European Commission programme AGIS 2006. The project is a partnership between the Nottinghamshire Police Authority, Poznań City Hall and Assen Municipality (www.agis-tdrc.eu). The project has been operating from June 2006 and will be completed in May 2008.
  • Placements of Poznań City Guards and Wielkopolska Police in Nottinghamshire - assisting to the Nottinghamshire Police in dealing with Polish minority in the county.
