Open lectures attract not only students and scientific workers of universities, but also residents, who want to find out about opinions of great authorities from the science, economy, politics and art world.
Since October 2008, the City has co-financed open lectures of over 250 prominent lecturers, including Nobel Prize winners.
Until now, the residents of Poznań could learn from experts in such fields as e.g.: electrical engineering, nanotechnology, mathematics, mechanics, oncology, neonatology, transport, renewable energy, zoology, histology, biochemistry, neurobiology, IT, mycology, spatial economics, molecular genetics, astrophysics, anesthesiology, philosophy, anthropology, archaeology, architecture, design, graphics, photography, modern art, or early music.
The lectures are open to the public. They are designed not just for students and researchers but also for citizens.
