Dr Jan Camenisch (Switzerland) 19.09.2018

The Faculty of Information Technology at the Poznan University Of Technology and the City of Poznań invite you to the open lecture entitled: The Pros and Cons of Blockchain for Privacy, which will be given by Dr. Jan Camenisch. The lecture will start at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, 19th September 2018 r. in the Aula Magna of the Lecture and Conference Centre of the Poznan University of Technology (2 Piotrowo street).

Dr Jan Camenisch works in the IBM Research - Zurich laboratory as the Principal Researcher and he is the head of the research team for privacy and cripotigrapfy. He has works which have been qoted almost 19,000 times to his credit and his Hirsch index is 60 (according to Google Scholar). Among his works there are three with over a thousand citations each. He has been awarded the title of IEEE Fellow for his accomplishments. Dr. Camenisch is the inventor of the encryption protocol called the Identity Mixer and the co-author of over seventy American patents. In 2010, he was honoured with the ACM SIGSAC Outstanding Innovation Award and in 2013, with the IEEE Computer Society Technical Achievement Award for his accomplishments
