Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and the City of Poznań are inviting for a lecture by Lt. Col. (Colonel) (Res.) Uri Ben Yaakov. An open lecture entitled: Global Terrorism, will take place on 24 October 2016 (Monday), at 3 p.m. in in Lecture Theatre on the Faculty Journalism and Political Science at Umultowska Street 89a.

Lieutenant Uri Ben Yaakov is a law graduate at the University of Tel Aviv. He is a researcher and project manager at the prestigious International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) in Herzliya in Israel.

Lt. Col. (Res.) Uri Ben Yaakov is an experienced analyst and researcher. He specializes in the issues of combating terrorism, cyber-terrorism, sources of financing of terrorism and the issues of security threats on the example of Syria. He is an expert in on behalf of the ICT, among others, in the Israeli Parliament; he contributed to preparation of Counter-Terrorism Bill.
