Open lecture by Prof. Hans-Christian Jabusch

The Academy of Music in Poznań and the City of Poznań invite you to participate in two open lectures to be delivered by Professor Hans-Christian Jabusch:

Prof. Hans-Christian Jabusch

Professor Hans-Christian Jabusch is a physician and a pianist, a specialist in the field of medicine for musicians. He is Director of the Institute of Musicians' Medicine at the University of Music Carl Maria von Weber, Dresden. From 1985 to 1987, he studied medicine (Regensburg and Marburg - Germany; Hadassah Medical Center, Jerusalem -Israel). Then, he graduated from piano studies at Wurzburg College of Music. He obtained his doctorate in medicine in 1996, and completed the habilitation in musicology in 2006.

Professor Jabusch is the author of more than 50 articles and 20 book chapters, inter alia: "Focal dystonia in musicians: treatment strategies and long-term outcome in 144 patients", or "Medical problems of performing artists".
