UNITY IN DIVERSITY - a student NO for racism

Migration crisis in Europe and the increasing risk of terrorist attacks conducive to the growth of radicalism. But can they be an excuse for hatred levelled against persons of another race? Students Erasmus Student Network of Adam Mickiewicz University will try to find answers to those questions.

UNITY IN DIVERSITY - a student NO for racism

On April 28 students intend to demonstrate their opposition to racial discrimination. Happening, "Unity in diversity - a student NO to racism", will start at 3:30 p.m.at Plac Wolności in Poznań and will involve laying "a live word" "UNITY" by people holding their hands.

The happening will be attended by students from Poland and by foreigners residing in the city as part of "Erasmus +"- a student exchange program , as well as ordinary residents of Poznan. The whole action will be documented in a film, which will initiate a student campaign against racial discrimination. Cooperation was already declared by: Independent Association of Students of AMU and associations: "Better World"; and "Project: Poland". The Mayor of Poznan, Mr. Jacek Jaśkowiak and Rector of AMU, Prof. Assoc. Bronislaw Marciniak took honorary patronage of the campaign.
