Prof. Federico Morelli (Argentina) 13.11.2017

The Poznan University of Life Sciences and the Poznan City Hall invite to an open lecture by Federico Morelli, PhD. The lecture titled "Cities changing nature and nature changing cities" will take place on 13 November 2017 (Monday) at 1 pm at the Runge College at 52 Wojska Polskiego Street.

Federico Morelli, PhD is Argentinian, but currently works as a senior researcher at the University of Life Sciences in Prague (Czech Republic). He has previously worked for many years at the Urbino University (Italy), and at INRA (France). In his research he combines a classic ecological approach with cartography (he holds diplomas in both fields). His works concerning modeling and homogenisation of urban groupings were discussed numerous times, both in scientific and popular literature. He currently is one of the leading researchers of ecological problems of cities in Europe.
