Programme description

The key objective in interior design training is to develop the student's sensitivity and spatial awareness. To achieve this goal, the students learn and participate in the development of an architectural language, with architecture being perceived as the art of space forming and integrating all artistic disciplines. Creating an awareness of responsibility for the social consequences of design actions is another important component in interior design training. Artistic sensitivity, creativity, a professional approach and know-how are the crucial concepts at interior design school. The in-depth study syllabus includes training in design techniques as well as other specialised courses.

Requirements

Documents and portfolios should be submitted by electronic mail or regular mail until the end of June. A mandatory non-refundable entrance fee of Euro 200 is required. A review of the documents sent in by the candidate takes place until mid-July. This is followed by an evaluation by the admissions committee of the candidate's cover letter (part of the application form) and portfolio. The committee's decision is communicated to the candidate in early August. If the evaluation is positive, the tuition fee for the first year of studies should be paid by the end of August. Tuition for one year of a BA course is Euro 5,000. Tuition for one year of an MA course is Euro 6,000. In September the University sends the new admissions an Admission Letter necessary for obtaining a visa in Polish diplomatic offices in a given country.
