Museum of Natural Environment and Hunting in Uzarzewo
Museum is located on the historical Piastowski route (No. 5) on the way from Poznań to Gniezno. It is a 19th century palace surrounded by a historical park with an interesting tree stand. The Museum was created in 1977 on the initiative of the Provincial Hunters' Council in Poznań. In 1982 the collections were delivered to the Museum in Szreniawa. Besides hunting, an object of the Museum interests is natural game environment and its protection, the history of hunting in Wielkopolska region, the history of shooting (technique of huntings, guns, trophies), hunting dogs and other auxilliary animals (falconry), hunting symbolism (legal norms, traditions and habits, language, knowledge ), hunting in art.
