National Museum of Agriculture and Agricultural-Food Industry in Szreniawa
The Szreniawa Museum was opened in 1964 and since 1966 has been a member of the International Association of Agricultural Museums (AIMA) reporting to the International Council of Museums (ICOM), which is affiliated with UNESCO. In 1975, the Museum was granted the status of a national museum. It has many open-air exhibits, including examples of agricultural tools and machinery, beehives, and other historical objects.

Group excursions should be notified not later than an hour before the Museum is closed. It is recommended to order guided tours at least one day before the expected arrival. Guide service is payable.

Temporary exhibitions are divided into several sections, including Agricultural Technology, which has a collection of hand- tools, wooden ploughs, listers, ploughs, treadmills, tractors, locomobiles and steam-powered machines, Veterinary Care and Feed Research Section; Transport Section; Food Processing Section; Rural Crafts and Trades Section; Ethnography Section History Section; Art Section and Visual Documentation Section.Go back to list
