During the second stage of development new office space will be developed (tier 1 and 2), then the rebuilding of the existing terminal and the reconstruction of the security zone. Finally, in mid-2013, building service to passengers of 11 years, will be transformed into the flue terminal part containing the enlarged commercial sector. The overall value of the contract came in at just over 24 million Euros.
The new zone will take care of fans arriving during the UEFA EURO 2012 ™. With the new infrastructure, comes an increased capacity passenger service - the peak hour capacity is now 1,900 passengers arriving and departing passengers will increase to 1100.
The terminal was designed to offer quality and efficiency for travellers, whilst maintaining convenience and comfort. The ultra-modern and spacious arrivals zone will be the first element to strike visitors arriving into Poznan.
