Poznań is a city of business and technology that strives to set trends on the Polish innovation map. More and more companies are investing there, looking for IT professionals and development opportunities. The authorities support projects that help this. An example is the Pozitive Technologies Conference, which was held on 23 November for the fifth time. Just like last year, the hybrid formula worked perfectly this time - a conference with seven thematic tracks and a main stage online and a stationary part in the afternoon at the eNstudios in Poznań.

The warehouse market in Greater Poland is driven by logistics companies. Throughout the month of November, men all over the world join the Movember Foundation's charity action. In this way, they draw attention to the problem of oncology, as well as other male diseases.

W. R. Grace & Co. (Grace), a global leader in specialty chemicals and materials, will open a new 684-square-meter office in Poznań on 5th of December 2023. The new state-of-the-art office space will be home to the company's global customer service center and is conveniently located to public transport and just under 5 kilometers from city center.

12 weeks, six modules, practical tasks and, at the end, the creation of a mini information portal. Such a pilot course offer has been prepared for participants by Wunderman Thompson Technology, a Poznan-based company. The courses will end with certification and job offers for the best. Participants are primarily invited to become.NET or C# programmers.

This year, PxCW was awarded the Polonica Progressio special prize by the Ministry of Development and Technology. This is a great distinction and an appreciation of the 30 years of activity in Wielkopolska to date. This is the second time the awards have been granted. The first winners received them in 2022.

The Shared Services Centre is the fourth branch of Phoenix Contact Wielkopolska. It is located in Poznań in the Nowy Rynek D building on Wierzbięcice Street. The first employees started working in the Shared Service Centre as early as 5 August last year. It has therefore been more than 10 months since PxCW has been operating in its new location.

The analysis was prepared by the City of Poznań, Cpl Poland, a global provider of innovative recruitment solutions and Colliers, a leader in the real estate industry. In total, over 50 companies and almost 500 employees were surveyed.
