According to SGH Warsaw School of Economics experts, the City of Poznań is Gmina na 5! [Excellent Municipality]

The city of Poznań has won the prestigious title of Gmina na 5! awarded by the Institute of Enterprise of the SGH Warsaw School of Economics. The award on behalf of the City was received by the deputy director of the Investor Relations Department Katarzyna Sobocińska, who also participated in the panel of Golden Municipalities for 5 and metropolitan cities.

The study of "Gmina na 5!" was implemented for the tenth time by an independent team of experts - students and scientists of the SGH Warsaw School of Economics. Over 650 municipalities from all over Poland were examined. The quality and professionalism of handling with the inquiries of the investors and entrepreneurs, which are coming to the city hall, were examined. Poznań has taken a prestigious place in the group of municipalities that cooperate best with investors and local entrepreneurs.

Poznań was also included in the group of municipalities, which for the third time in a row were awarded, and it received special "Złota Gmina na 5!" [GoldenMunicipality for 5!]. Besides Poznań, they were given to the following municipalities: Gdynia, Człuchów, Poniatowa, Czerwonak, Gdańsk, Targówek, Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Rydułtowy, and Złotów.

The aim of the study "Gmina na 5!" was analysis of the activities of Polish municipalities. These tasks were aimed to present how the cooperation of municipalities with the local community looks like and show their partner attitude to local entrepreneurs as well as external investors. It was analyzed with great attention how municipalities meet the expectations, as well as what tools and methods they use to carry out tasks - was written in the introduction to the report, which summarized the study.

The research scheme was based on the assumptions developed in previous years. The most important element of the study was to analyze the course of electronic communication between the office and potential investors, entrepreneurs as well as other stakeholders of communities.

The first area studied was the communication of the municipality with its clients via the website - one-way communication. The second important element was two-way communication. Mailing in Polish and English together with the use of the "mysterious customer" research technique was used for this purpose

- This award is particularly valuable to us, also because of the methodology. Researchers analyzed objective criteria, such as access to information and cooperation with the city hall. "Gmina na 5!" it is a confirmation that investors can count on our support and up-to-date information, which they need - said Katarzyna Sobocińska, deputy director of the Investor Relations Department.
