  • The University has the Folk Dance Group "Łany", which has been the center of the artistic and cultural activity for many students for over 20 years.
  • The Rural Household Department is separate teaching unit of the Poznan University Life Sciences with traditions are almost 50-year long. Now it is only one such unit in Poland, offering 2  facultative courses:  Ecological household and First aid and rescue.
  • A considerable proportion of results stems from cooperation with the Agricultural and Forest Experimental Stations belonging to the University. There are five Centres of Excellence operating at the University, i.e.:
  • The most important tasks of these Centres are connected with conducting research in terms of both pure and applied science, realisation of projects and research programmes as well as education, services and training activities.
