What is Męskie Granie?
Męskie Granie is one of Poland's most popular summer music festivals. Each weekend, it visits a different city, bringing together well-known Polish artists for two days of live performances. This year's Poznań edition takes place on Friday, 10 July, and Saturday, 11 July.
On Friday, the main stage will feature Yana, Zakopower x Miuosh, Kacperczyk and Sistars, followed by the special project "Męskie Granie Przedstawia", during which PRO8L3M will perform songs by Kazik, before Kazimierz Staszewski and members of Kult take the stage. The second stage will host Kuba i Kuba, Daria ze Śląska, Radio Maria, Hoshii gra /ż/ Peszek, and Fisz i Emade: Pan EF Pan Emade.
On Saturday, festival-goers will hear Wiktor Waligóra, a tribute to Stanisław Soyka featuring Natalia Przybysz, Smolik, Anna Maria Jopek, Grażyna Łobaszewska, Igo and Coma. The evening will conclude with the Męskie Granie Orkiestra 2026. The smaller stage will present Metro, Warszawskie Combo Taneczne, Księżniczki (Kasia Lins, Margaret, Mery Spolsky and Anna Maria Jopek) and Lordofon.
Where is the festival?
The concerts will take place on the large meadow near the Bell of Peace and Friendship Among Nations in Citadel Park. The entrance to the festival grounds is located on Aleja Armii Poznań, near the Museum of Armaments. The festival gates open at 4:00 p.m., with the first concerts beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Why are there traffic changes?
Thousands of people are expected to attend the concerts each day. To improve safety and make it easier for visitors to reach the venue, the city is introducing temporary traffic measures around the Citadel.
Temporary pedestrian restrictions
Some pedestrian paths near the festival meadow will be temporarily closed.
Visitors should also expect restrictions on parts of the following avenues:
- Aleja Cytadelowców,
- Aleja Generała Stanisława Sosabowskiego,
- Aleja 15 Pułku Ułanów Poznańskich.
Public transport will be strengthened
The easiest way to reach the festival is by public transport. A special tram line 30 will operate between Wilczak and Most Dworcowy, serving the Citadel area. Trams will run every 10 minutes from 3:00 p.m. until 1:30 a.m.
Tram line 17 will also run more frequently:
- Friday: every 10 minutes from 6:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
- Saturday: every 10 minutes from 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
The nearest stop for the festival is the Małe Garbary/Garbary stop.
The Citadel can also be reached by bus routes:
160, 163, 167, 168, 169, 171, 174, 176, 190 and 911.
Most services will be operated by larger buses to accommodate more passengers. After the concerts, additional buses will operate on routes 163, 174 and 190 from Garbary railway station.
Please note that festival tickets do not include free public transport. A regular public transport ticket is required.
Temporary road and parking changes
From 10 to 11 July, between 3:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. the following day, temporary traffic regulations will apply around the Citadel.
The changes include:
- the bus lane on Szelągowska Street (between Winogrady Street and Na Stoku Street) will be closed to buses and used as a temporary parking area;
- the right-hand lane of Aleja Armii Poznań, from Garbary Street to Aleja Niepodległości, will also be used for parking;
- on Saturday only, as on other weekends, parking will additionally be allowed on the lane running alongside the Citadel between Aleja Niepodległości and the area before the turn into Za Cytadelę Street;
- entry into Na Stoku Street will not be possible during the restrictions;
- the speed limit on Szelągowska Street and Aleja Armii Poznań will be reduced to 40 km/h.
Practical advice
If you are visiting the Citadel this weekend, follow temporary traffic signs and consider using trams or buses instead of driving. If you are not attending the festival, it may be worth avoiding the immediate area around the park in the evening, when the largest crowds are expected.
