The Society of the Friends of the Poznań Parish Church once again invites you to the series "Old Town Organ Concerts".

On successive Thursdays in August, you will be able to hear Sylvain Pluyaut, Johannes Krahl, Karol Gołębiowski and Maciej Lewandowicz.

Sylvain Pluyaut

Professor at the Dijon Conservatory of Music is a titular organist of the historical organ in the Riepp-Callinet Church in Semur-en-Auxois. In 2008-2012, he taught organists associated with the Catholic cathedral in Moscow.

5 August, 7:30pm, Poznań Parish Church, admission free

Johannes Krahl

An outstanding German organist of the young generation, student of the Leipzig Academy of Music and Theatre in the class of Prof. Martin Schmeding. Winner of organ competitions in Freiburg, Dublin and Moscow.

12 August, 7:30pm, Poznań Parish Church, admission free

Karol Gołębiowski

An outstanding Polish organist, laureate of European music competitions, juror of many competitions. Credited with having made Poland's first recording of all works by J.S. Bach. His extended stay and work in Belgium channeled his interests towards French romantic organ music.

19 August, 7:30pm, Poznań Parish Church, admission free

Maciej Lewandowicz

A graduate of Wrocław Academy of Music in the class of Prof. Piotr Rojek. A laureate of high school and university organ competitions.
