Second Deputy Mayor collaborates with the Employment Office in Poznan.

Responsibilities of Deputy Mayor of social welfare and healthcare, cooperation with social, cultural and sport organizations, and business activities:

  • health promotion and disease prevention
  • prevention and solving addiction-related problems
  • social work
  • institutionalized childcare for children under three years of age
  • municipal offer of assistance for families and elderly people
  • supporting people with disabilities
  • coordinating cooperation between the City of Poznan and non-governmental organizations
  • cultural development of the City of Poznan and activities of municipal cultural institutions
  • work organization and HR policy of Poznan City Hall
  • supervision over the payment of financial benefits to the residents of Poznan
  • development of physical culture, touring/exploring and sport
  • providing for the residents of Poznan and departments of Poznan City Hall call center and contact center services and free legal help
  • supervising the execution of programs in accordance with a separate regulation defining the strategic management of the development of the City of Poznan
  • supporting family and foster care
  • forest and agricultural management
  • business activities, development of entrepreneurship, in particular, of small- and medium-sized enterprises
  • ensuring the protection of consumer rights
  • coordinating activities in terms of equality policy
  • creating favorable conditions for foreigners and repatriates to settle down
  • coordinating the execution of the Act of July19, 2019 on ensuring availability to people with special needs

Born April 29, 1973. Lawyer by profession. Graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan in 1998.

In 1998 he started his career at the Wielkopolska Province Office in Poznan. In 2002 he became Director of the Civic Affairs and Crisis Management Department at the County Office in Poznan. In October 2003 he started working at Poznan City Hall in the Organizational Department - until 2011 as Deputy Director, next - after a few months - as Director of the Department.

Member of Boards of Directors, since 2014 he has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Poznańskie Inwestycje Miejskie sp. z o.o. (Poznan Municipal Investments Ltd.).

Lecturer of public administration reform at International People's College (Uniwersytet Ludowy) in Poznan between 1999 - 2000. Completed postgraduate studies in labor code.

Participated in numerous training sessions, for instance, regarding the functioning of crisis management centers and rescue in the Hannover city region in Germany. Completed many courses in management, public information, management control, and HR.

Winner of several local-government competitions in tennis.

Married, father of two children.
