Cashless Payment System for the Poznan Fan Zone

Cashless payment system will apply in the Fan Zone. Any person who already has a card carrying either the PayPass or payWave symbol can use it inside the Fan Zone. For those who do not have such a card yet, you can get a FREE special limited edition UEFA EURO 2012 Mastercard ® prepared especially for the Poznan Fan Zone.
Throughout the Fan Zone in Poznan a non-cash payment system is in effect. All transactions will be by means of prepaid cards, such as PayPass (used by MasterCard) or payWave (used by Visa). For those who do not have cards of this type a special offer has been prepared. Bank Pekao SA - an official UEFA EURO ™ Sponsor - specifically for the Fan Zone in Poznan a free prepaid card has been prepared with the image and logo of the Poznan Football Stadium.
Cards can be used free to get into the zone by first loading the card with 30 zł. Which means that you can immediately use it for purchases within the Fan Zone, as well as outside it.

Cards can be obtained and recharged in two points of Bank Pekao SA - near the fountain in Freedom Square and Al. Marcinkowski (outside the National Museum).
Additional charge ups can be achieved inside the zone via bank transfer, or depositing cash in the branches of Bank Pekao SA, or post office. Since the purchase card be used outside the Fan Zone, it can be used as a standard payment card. The daily limit on card transactions is 500 zł.- Prepaid cards allow for convenient and easy payments up to 50 zł without having to enter a PIN number. Up to the end of the year, you can withdraw the funds placed on the card from any ATM or via a cash back service. Cards in the Fan Zone will be available only during the existence of the Fan Zone, ie from 8 June to 1 July.
Inside the Zone you will also be able to purchase a card preloaded with 50 zł from one of the hostesses strolling throughout the Zone. This amount can be immediately used for any purchases within the zone. Throughout the Fan Zone, you can use any PayPass or payWave card, regardless of the date of acquisition cards and the bank that issued the card. Official Sponsor of UEFA EURO 2012 ™, Bank Pekao SA has also prepared its product - Greeting Card PayPass and payWave especially for EURO 2012 in three models. Cards are already available in bank branches. The fee for the manufacturing of this card is a non-refundable amount of 20 zł.
