Come&Join Competition Winners

From 9th to 11th June a group of Croatian and Irish fans were guests in Poznan. They have won the Come&Join competition organized by the City Promotion Department. In the competition the contestants had to make a short film about kicking the ball in the direction of Poznan.

The lucky winners have won a return plane ticket to Poznan and the opportunity to watch the Croatia-Ireland match at the City Stadium in Poznan. Moreover, the city has provided them with a lot of attractions connected to Poznan as well as a set of gadgets prepared especially for the UEFA EURO 2012™.

The Croatian fans flew to Berlin on Saturday in the afternoon, and in the evening they got to Poznan. The Irish chose the Dublin-Poznan alternative and they came to Poznan a little earlier than their Croatians friends.

The winners of the competition have been put up in the Don Prestige hotel in the city centre. The Croatians have got along with the Irish instantly and they spent Saturday evening together in the Fanzone in the VIP section, where they watched the Germany-Portugal match.

Sunday turned out to be a very busy day. The winners went to the line park in Malta, rollercoaster, and the adored Malta baths as well as other interesting places. In the evening both groups went to the stadium where they supported their national teams.

The Croatian fans went back home on Monday morning. The Irish are staying in Poznan until tonight. Both groups admit that they are delighted about the city, the stadium and the amount of attractions that the city has provided them with. They were also very impressed with the organization of the tournament itself.

Both groups say they will definitely visit Poznan again.
