One Million at the Stadium!
2011-11-14
The first venue for the UEFA EURO 2012™ has been visited during all previous events and tours by nearly one million people. On this occasion, EURO Poznań would like to announce a competition!
"One Million at the Stadium" is the new slogan of the competition organized by EURO Poznań 2012, on the occasion of the steadily increasing number of fans and guests visiting the arena in Poznań, prepared the UEFA EURO 2012™, which is close to exceeding one million.
We would like to activate the group of fans of the stadium organized within the social network Facebook and move the contest from the virtual world straight to the streets of Poznań. After the success of the previous editions of competitions organized on Facebook and the great deal of information we received from the participants in the portal, we decided, in order to preserve this form of communication with supporters, to meet their expectations and give the Stadium's fans a chance to win other valuable prizes.
The competition has been prepared in two stages.
From 16th November, during 14 days of the first stage of the competition, photographs showing the Stadium in various scenes reflecting, among other things, events of a special nature for residents of the City which have taken place at ul. Bułgarska , will be depicted on 20 billboards located throughout the city. Every day, we will place hints about where to find specific photos at the profile www.facebook.com/stadionmiejskiwpoznaniu. The task for the participants of the competition will be to find as many posters as possible and to take photos of their background. Creativity is extremely desirable, since the best photo will be selected by the users of the portal.
After 14 days, the works which meet the terms and conditions of the competition, will be placed on a specially designed application where for 7 consecutive days everyone can judge the submitted works and vote for the best one.
The results of the competition will be announced at the profile of the Stadium on 8th December this year.
The winner will receive a ball signed by Michel Platini, President of UEFA, and an individual tour of the most interesting corners of the Stadium. The second place prize is a ball signed by the players of Lech Poznań. Third place will be awarded with an album of photos from the most important events which have taken place at ul. Bułgarska since the official opening of the Stadium, signed by players of KKS Lech Poznań and framed in the membrane of the Stadium.
In addition, 10 people who voted for the winning photo will receive albums with the photos of the Stadium, framed in the membrane.
