The 105th anniversary of the outbreak of the Wielkopolska Uprising of 1918-1919 will commence on December 27. According to the organisers, this semi-round milestone warrants a slightly larger-scale celebration. To start this year's event early, they are rolling out the Wielkopolska PLAYS! for the Museum concert on 17 December.

"Poznan Silent Night" is a project for all people, Polish and International students, visitors and residents of Poznan. During the event at plac Wolności we will come together at our Christmas market and stage to sing "Silent Night" in many different languages.  The event will take place on 14th December  at 6 PM. 

Prepare to kick off the celebration marking the one hundred and fifth anniversary of the Wielkopolska Uprising set to commence early, in mid-month. And what a jubilation it shall be! A focal point of this festivity will undoubtedly be the Wielkopolska PLAYS! for the Museum concert featuring Poland's most illustrious musicians, scheduled for 17 December.

Representatives of Smart City - Michał Łakomski and Olga Dzieciątkowska, accompanied by the director of the Poznań Contact Office, Konrad Zawadzki, took part in the Barcelona-based Smart City Expo World Congress on 7-9.11. The event, held at the Fira exhibition centre, attracted more than 25,000 visitors and guests from 140 countries, with more than 570 speakers and 1,100 exhibitors.

Institute of Instrumental Music at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań and the City of Poznań would like to invite you to an open lecture titled "The Bach Family and the clavichord", which will be conducted by the eminent and acclaimed harpsichordist and clavichordist Aapo Häkkinen. The lecture will take place in the Presidential Hall  of the  the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań on December 11, 2023, at 10 am.
