The conference was full of public sessions, as well as plenary and working sessions of the ICC community with European city authorities

The first day of the conference featured public sessions as well as plenary and working sessions of the ICC community, while participants spent the evening hours networking. The second and final day was dedicated to interactive workshops and networking sessions that allowed ICC stakeholders to meet. Their main objective was to present and improve their cities' strategies and action plans, and to exchange ideas, often turning into brainstorming sessions, contributing to the launch of Local Green Deals partnerships.

The Strategy Conference was the first event of the Intelligent Cities Challenge (2022-2025 edition). This is the second and consecutive edition, which includes the City of Poznan. The event brings together around 200 city leaders and business and business stakeholders from ICC core and mentor cities, urban development and transformation experts, green and digital technology solution providers, researchers and representatives from the European Commission. All of the above make up the ICC community.

The purposes of the ICC Strategy City Lab includes presenting current challenges and developments in the EU and confirming the EU's commitment to working with local partners on the Green Deal and the EU Green Deal Industrial Plan. In addition, the community highlights an assessment of the current state of the city's LAG (Local Green Deal) strategies, including feedback from LAG trainers and sector experts on the development of the city's LAG strategy and action plan, and information on what are the right strategies to start developing LAG partnerships. It is also important to identify examples of LAG partnerships with high impact potential. Discussion panels with mentors and partner cities on LAG strategies and implementation experiences aim to shed light on critical challenges and lessons learned by mentoring cities. ICC conferences are intended to inspire through successful case studies of LAG mentors and encourage community building among ICC members.

Participation in events such as the Intelligent Cities Strategy City Lab underlines the attention that the City of Poznan pays to the implementation of new technologies in its sustainable development strategy.
