"Study in Poznań" at the fair in Kazakhstan
At the "Ready, Study, Go! Poland" national stand arranged by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, pupils and students from Kazakhstan can familiarise themselves with a comprehensive offer of the academic Poznań. Owing to the cooperation of the City with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the fair is attended by the representative of the City as well as representatives of the three universities of Poznań: Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poznań University of Economics and Business and Poznan University of Technology. Also a strong Polish note is included in the fair, proof of which is the participation of and the speech delivered during the special opening by the Polish Consul General in Almaty Andrzej Papierz.
A block of presentations on Poznań and individual universities has been arranged during the fair. Additionally, there are planned meetings with Kazakh universities on the subject of cooperation under the Erasmus+ programme and meetings at the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Almaty with young people of the Polish community abroad on opportunities to start studies in Poland by people of Polish descent and/or holders of the Karta Polaka.
Kazakh citizens are currently the second, after Chinese, most numerous group of Asian students in Poznań. On account of taking on by Poland the role of the EU-Central Asia Educational Platform Supporting State, together with the universities, we would like to intensify cooperation with this region.
