The event is the result of many years of efforts of the Department of International Marketing and Marketing Strategy Department of the University of Economics in Poznan (UEP). It is a great honour for our country - Poland is the second country in Central and Eastern Europe (after Hungary), where the conference will be held.

Industrial Marketing and Purchasing Group (IMP) brings together leading scientists from around the world, and its main representatives are Håkan Håkansson, Ivan Snehota, Lars-Gunnar Mattsson, David Ford and Alexandra Waluszewski.

The Congress, which will be held from 30.08.2016 to 03.09.2016 at the University of Economics in Poznan, will be attended by around 250 guests from more than 20 countries.

The main theme of the World Congress of Marketing - IMP 2016 will be a dynamic transformation of markets, networks and relationships, which is reflected, among others, in the emergence of new business models, creation of innovation, changes to existing business strategies, and many other aspects of business operations.

The event also includes a Business Day and Doctoral Colloquium. Business Day offers the opportunity to meet representatives of leading Polish companies, who will present, using the examples of their own companies, effective ways to manage the business networks. Whereas Doctoral Colloquium is an opportunity for young scientists to gain valuable advice and guidance regarding the preparation of a doctoral dissertation, which will be provided by the authorities of science during the workshops and interactive sessions.
