On November 12-18, 2018 the "Study in Poznań" team took part in an educational mission in Ukraine. The first city visited by a representative of the city and Poznań universities was Kharkiv. Then the delegation went to Kyiv for the educational fair "Osvita ta karira".

The exhibition at the City Gallery Arsenał will showcase the work of Mayumi Suzuki, who wants to share her personal tragedy. It will contain the archives and visual traces left in the ruins of her family home after 2011 tsunami. In her photographic book called The Restoration Will she combines archival works, her father's portfolio, elements of a destroyed, family photographic studio and contemporary photographs. The cycle is a commemoration of her lost loved ones. In The Place to Belong series, presented in Poznań for the first time, the artist expands her exploration of archives and traces of the catastrophe.

On November 16th, 2018, 6 pm, in the White Room, Poznań City Hall, 17 Kolegiacki Square, the 4th Chop (IN) Poznań & Wielkopolska concert will be held by the City Developpment and Foreign Relations Department of the Poznań City Hall, the Musical Theater in Poznań and the Polish Radio Chopin. The concert, as part also of the Festival of the Polish Radio Chopin, will be broadcasted live.

Talent Development Foundation from Poznań as the first from almost one hundred thousand non-governmental organisations operating in Poland was granted support as part of the #GivingTuesday campaign. In October 2018, the Polish edition of this international initiative had its launch. The Poznań Foundation is the first Polish non-profit organisation for which the collection is run.

Rector of AMU prof. Andrzej Lesicki and the Intercollegiate Committee of Celebration of the 100th anniversary of the University of Poznań invite you to the concert "1918. Freedom and other important words ", that can be a chance to reflect on the 100th anniversary of the Poznań University and the regaining independence by Poland as well.

University Adam Mickiewicz and the City of Poznań invite you to the next open lectures. This time two lectures will be given by prof. dr Zbigniew Formella SDB, salesian, lecturer at the Salesian Pontifical University in Rome. The lectures will take place on November 7th at 11 am and on November 8th at 3 pm at the Faculty of Theology of Adam Mickiewicz University (ul. Wieżowa 2/4, building A, auditorium A).

Have you ever wondered what graphene looks like, enlarged a few million times? The newly published book "Microstructures - photo album" created by employees of the NanoBioMedical Center (Centrum NanoBioMedycznego - CNBM)  is the rich collection of black and white photos.  You can see close-up nanoparticles, gels, cell cultures and other systems.
