"LEADERS: Poland in a Global World" is a global conference which delves deeper into the themes of the Polish economy, politics and culture within the overarching context of globalisation. The aim of the congress is to stimulate fruitful discussions between the leading experts in the aforementioned fields and primarily Polish students from top British universities.

The joyful and colorful celebrations of the Chinese New Year are approaching. This is a beautiful tradition, worthy of being perpetuated. I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznan and the City of Poznan invite to the open lecture of Prof. Roger Birnstingl, entitled: "The History of Bassoon in the European Symphonic Orchestras", which will be given on Friday, 2nd February, 2018, at 05:00p.m. in President's Hall (No. 10) in the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music at ul. Św. Marcin 87.

Thursday, January 25, 2018 will be the next Cryptology Day at AMU. On this occasion, the Alumno bene merenti medal ceremony will be held in the Lubranski Hall of Collegium Minus. The medal was awarded to Marian Rejewski, Jerzy Różycki and Henryk Zygalski whose families will take part in the celebration. Medal Alumno bene merenti of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, established by the resolution of the AMU Senate in September 2016, is given to the most outstanding graduates of the University. On the occasion of the 85th anniversary of breaking the Enigma code, the medal was posthumously awarded to the most famous Polish cryptologists.
