Save Time with the Trusted Profile (Profil Zaufany)
To simplify administrative procedures and save time, you can use a Trusted Profile, a free and secure method for verifying a citizen's identity in e-government services. It serves as the equivalent of a secure electronic signature, confirmed by a qualified certificate. With a Trusted Profile, you can handle many administrative matters-such as submitting applications, appeals, or complaints-electronically, without visiting an office in person.
How to Obtain a Trusted Profile
Option I - For All Citizens
- Create an ePUAP account.
- Log in to your ePUAP account, then complete and submit a request to activate your Trusted Profile using the electronic services available on ePUAP.
- Verify your identity in person with a valid ID card or passport at a designated authentication point.
Authentication points include consuls, heads of tax offices, regional governors, and the Social Insurance Institution. After obtaining prior approval from the Minister for Digitalisation, other public entities, domestic banks, postal operators, and branches of credit institutions may also serve as authentication points.

Option II - For Holders of an Electronic Signature
- Log in to ePUAP (an account is required).
- Complete an application for a Trusted Profile.
