Talent Development Foundation from Poznań as the first from almost one hundred thousand non-governmental organisations operating in Poland was granted support as part of the #GivingTuesday campaign. In October 2018, the Polish edition of this international initiative had its launch. The Poznań Foundation is the first Polish non-profit organisation for which the collection is run.

University Adam Mickiewicz and the City of Poznań invite you to the next open lectures. This time two lectures will be given by prof. dr Zbigniew Formella SDB, salesian, lecturer at the Salesian Pontifical University in Rome. The lectures will take place on November 7th at 11 am and on November 8th at 3 pm at the Faculty of Theology of Adam Mickiewicz University (ul. Wieżowa 2/4, building A, auditorium A).

Have you ever wondered what graphene looks like, enlarged a few million times? The newly published book "Microstructures - photo album" created by employees of the NanoBioMedical Center (Centrum NanoBioMedycznego - CNBM)  is the rich collection of black and white photos.  You can see close-up nanoparticles, gels, cell cultures and other systems.

Poznań's Georgian twin city - Kutaisi - has announced a photo contest entitled "Ilo" after famous Georgian photographer Ilo Khakhaleishvili. The topic of this year's edidion is "My City". There are financial rewards for the best photographs and they will also be used for the official calendar. The deadline for sending thte photos is 10th November. All necessary information are available below and in the appendix.

Adam Mickiewicz University and the City of Poznań are inviting for the open lecture "The current regional security situation: Afghanistan, Iran, and Pakistan" which is held on Monday, 22 October at 13.15 in the room 121 at the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism, Umultowska Street 89a. The guest of honour is prof. Tughral Yamin - the Pakistani researcher specializing in international relations issues in Southern Asia.
