The lecture will take place on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 1:30 pm , in room 327 Collegium Maius.  A day later (Thursday, November 8), at 3:30 pm in the Collegium Maius Theater Hall, there will be an opening of the exhibition "Illustrator in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll's masterpiece on  Riitta Oittinen graphics. 

Professor Riitta Oittien from the University of Tampere in Finland is a translator, illustrator and lecturer in translation, author and editor of scientific monographs devoted to translations of children's literature, including Translating Picturebooks (2018) or Translating for Children (2000). She is also an artist and author of graphics for many books, articles and animated films. On November 5-12, 2018, prof. Oittinen will be a guest at the Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology (Wydział Filologii Polskiej i Klasycznej) at Adam Mickiewicz University.
