The space is used as an institution of education, culture and art, it's main mission being to promote the life and work of Feliks Nowowiejski. It is used for educational workshops, museum classes and chamber concerts in keeping with the traditions begun by the Nowowiejski family in the inter- and post-war period. The Salon also promotes young talent in cooperation with Poznań's cultural institutions and music schools, especially the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music.
