Production

Bridgestone is the largest producer of tires and rubber products in the world. Bridgestone Poznań Sp. z o.o. is one of eight European Bridgestone factories. The factory in Poznań produces almost 500 types of tires, used by the largest car manufacturers in the world, including premium and prestige brands.


Kompania Piwowarska is the largest brewing company in Poland. It is part of the international company Asahi. Kompania Piwowarska owns one of the most modern breweries in Europe in Poznań.


Lisner is a company based in Poznań, which produces fish products, in particular based on herring, as well as pastes and salads. Since 1991, Lisner has been manufacturing its products in Poland, and since 1994 in Poznań. In 2004, the factory in Poznań was extended and modernized. Currently, the company employs 900 people, constantly strengthening and expanding the main Lisner brand.


MARS - an American corporation based in McLean, Virginia, producing and selling pet food, chocolate, ready meals, beverages, chewing gums and sugar sweets, employing 65,000. It hires in 70 countries around the world. In 2008, the company merged with Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, which now operates as part of the Mars corporation. In Poznań, the corporation has been present since 2008, after the acquisition of one of the largest Poznań plants in Poland, Wrigley Poland producing chewing gum.


Mondelēz International, Inc.  (formerly Kraft Foods, Inc.) - a global concern producing food and beverages. The company has a leading position on the coffee and cake market, and a leading position among manufacturers of chocolate products in Poland, and Milka is one of the most popular brands among chocolates.


Nivea is one of the leading companies in the care category that is part of the international Beiersdorf AG concern. Beiersdorf has a production plant located in Poznań, where it currently manufactures Eucerin dermocosmetic products and Nivea Visage, Nivea Body, Nivea Baby and Nivea for Men care products.


Solaris Bus & Coach is one of the leading European companies in the field of design and production of public transport vehicles, in particular: city buses, intercity buses, trolleybuses, special-purpose buses and trams. Since the launch of production in 1996, the company has already left over 17,000 buses that drive the roads of 32 countries.


Volkswagen Poznań is a factory of commercial vehicles and components. For more than 15 years, the VW Caddy and VW Transporter have been produced in Poznań. Hence, these cars go to markets around the world. Volkswagen Poznań is currently the largest employer in Wielkopolska and one of the largest in the country. The company has been present in Poznań since 1993. Volkswagen Poznań consists of four modern production plants and over 11,000 employees. In October 2016, a new Crafter factory in Białężyce near Września was opened. The foundry in Poznań's Wilda produces modern aluminum components that go to many Volkswagen AG factories around the world. The Volkswagen Group is the largest employer in Poznań and the largest foreign investor.
