9:00 a.m.    Concert "In the rhythm of Polonaise and Csárdás" - performances by the Hungarian Song and Dance Ensemble  "Piroska" and "Mała Wielkopolska". PLACE M. Karlowicz Music High School in Poznan, 12 Solna Str.

9.30 a.m.    Wreath laying under R. Strzalkowski and P. Mansfeld commemorative plaques.PLACE: at the corner of R. Strzałkowskiego and J.H. Dąbrowskiego streets, at the corner of R. Strzałkowskiego and P. Mansfelda streets

11.00 a.m.   Registration of participants arriving to Poznan on March 23rd. Official opening of the ceremony. Among others:

  • speech of the host of ceremony- Mayor of Poznań
  • speech of the President of the Republic of Poland
  • speech of the President of Hungarian Republic
  • special guest's lecture by professor Danuta Huebner
  • passing a Polish-Hungarian Day's flag to the Mayor of Poznan
  • Concert of "Amadeus"  Polish Radio Chamber Orchestra conducted by Agnieszka Duczmal

1.00 p.m.    Wreath laying under the Monument of Poznań June '56 by President of the Republic of Poland and President of the Hungarian Republic
