On 22-23 February 2019, a group from Poznań presents the educational offer of our city among Georgian youth. Apart from providing information about higher education in Poznań a delegation of "Study in Poznań" took part in B2B meetings with representatives of Georgian universities.
In Poland, there are currently about 300 students from Georgia. In Poznań, the number of students from this country is systematically increasing. The most popular among young Georgians are technical, IT and economic faculties. - Georgian youth often asks about studies in the field of management and architecture - says Julia Krawcowa from Collegium da Vinci in Poznań. - Many visitors want to develop in the field of information technology or programming, which is why tPoznań universities that offer education at the highest level are very interesting for them - adds Olga Vakhrina from the Poznań University of Technology.
Young Georgians are also encouraged to take up studies in Poland by the Stefan Banach Scholarship Program dedicated to people from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine as well as Central Asian countries (http://buwiwm.edu.pl/program-stypendialny-im-s-banacha/), which is available to students of the second and third degree studies and enables them to take up studies in scientific and natural sciences.
