Location: A coastal city in the province of Guandong, close to Hong Kong. The city has a sub - tropical climate.
Population: 4 million inhabitants
Information about the city:
Granted the status of city in 1979, one year later it became the first Special Economic Area in China. Shenzhen has been transformed over the last two decades from a frontier fishing village to a modern metropolis. It is now one of the most developed cities in China in terms of manufacturing and science and technology and is characterised by it's success in high - technology industries.
