A painter by profession. Since 1991, he has been engaged in ice sculpting. He is most known as the 15-fold Gold Medallist in the Ice Art Championships held worldwide. The Originator of the Art Fair held each Sunday in Fairbanks, Alaska. Since 1996, he has been living in Alaska, where he works as a painter, ice carver and arts instructor. He has taken part in many International Ice Sculpting Championships (Alaska, US, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Italy, Germany and Poznań in 2010 and 2011), earning numerous Gold and Silver Medals.

In 2011, together with Nadia Fedotova, he made it to second place in the Poznań International Ice Sculpture Festival.
