Air transport
Poznan's Ławica Airport offers scheduled domestic and international flights to many European capitals and major metropolises, including Dublin, Copenhagen, London, Oslo, Rome, Stockholm, Barcelona, Bristol, Cork, Doncaster/Sheffield, Dortmund, Edinburgh, Frankfurt am Main, Liverpool and Munich along with the Polish cities of Warsaw, Krakow and Szczecin. Ławica Airport is located 7 km from the city centre, at a thoroughfare that connects it with the most important points in the city. To get to the centre of Poznan from the Airport, you can use an express municipal bus running from the airport to the main railway station.

Road transport
Many national and international roads intersect in Poznan, which can be reached by the A2 motorway, as well as by national roads 92 (east-west) and 11 (north-south). Parking in the city centre is subject to fees, and it is recommended to leave the car at a monitored parking lot or one of the special park&ride facilities located around the paid parking zone.

Rail transport
Poznan is an important railway hub, accessible from within Poland and from abroad. It takes about 3 hours to get to Berlin, and travel time to the Polish capital on an express train is similar. The main railway station is located in the downtown area, opposite the grounds of the Poznan International Fair.
Trains coming to Poznan stop at the Poznan Główny railroad station, which comprises two parts connected by a pedestrian subway: the Main Hall and Dworzec Zachodni (Western Station). The station building offers many shops and bistros, as well as a travellers' information point and Internet kiosks.
