The Poznań University of Economics and Business and the City of Poznań invite you to an open lecture titled "Globalization: Where Did We Go Wrong and Can We Fix It?" to be delivered by Prof. Dani Rodrik. The lecture will be held on December 3 at 12:00 p.m. in the UEP Assembly Hall, al. Niepodległości 10.
Dani Rodrik is the Ford Foundation Professor of International Political Economy at the Harvard Kennedy School. He is the author of numerous publications in the fields of economic development, international economics, and political economy. His current research focuses on employment and economic growth in both developing and developed countries.
He is the recipient of many prestigious awards, including the inaugural Albert O. Hirschman Prize awarded by the Social Science Research Council and the Princess of Asturias Award in the Social Sciences. Professor Rodrik serves as co-director of the Reimagining the Economy program at the Kennedy School and of the Economics for Inclusive Prosperity network. From 2021 to 2023, he served as president of the International Economic Association and co-founded the IEA-WE (Women in Leadership in Economics) initiative, aimed at promoting women's participation in economic leadership.
