On 20-22 October 2014 yet another international meeting of partners under the YALE project took place, this time in Poznań.
The meeting was attended by more than 30 participants, including 12 guests from Berlin.
Due to the level of progress of project activities, the meeting had a very practical and intensive character.
On the first day, in the presence of all the participants, the previous actions (projects) implemented in kindergartens were presented.
On the second day, participants were divided into thematic groups. Berlin kindergartens went on an all-day study visit in Poznań kindergartens. Simultaneously, at the Municipal Office, a meeting was organized with participation of external experts, concerning development of the early education system, addressed to educational authorities and representatives of the world of science. During the meeting, the Berlin partners - the Senate, Beki and PKiB, presented their experiences in this respect using the example of the Berlin Education Program.
The third day proceeded similarly, while kindergartens discussed the project approach at kindergarten work, representatives of the Office, the Senate, IMD, Beki and PKiB, debated about further activities in the project, among others, preparation of a publication and a conference concluding the project.
The whole visit ended with a common summary and evaluation of the meeting, with all the participants involved. During the summary, a very important declaration was uttered on the part of partner kindergartens, which unanimously stated that after a year of the project implementation they felt that they were genuine, equal partners and in spite of differences in kindergarten education systems, everyone could learn from each other
