The city, together with local IT companies, has prepared a guidebook titled "Poznań, the city of IT" created for IT specialists who would like to live and work in Poznań. The guide provides information not only about the key data from the IT industry and the real estate and housing market but also gives several lifestyle tips.

The Faculty of Physical Culture Sciences at the Academy of Physical Education in Poznań and the City of Poznań invite you to an open lecture by prof. Bert Little, who will conduct a lecture titled: "Overweight and obesity in children and adolescents. An alarming increase in type 2 diabetes incidence at the age of 6-18 years in black and white children. Causes and Solutions". The lecture will be held on October 13 at 13:00 in lecture hall 023-24 NBD of the Academy of Physical Education, ul. Królowej Jadwigi 27. 

Spanning from Zbąszyń to Konin and from Piła to Kalisz, and of course, well represented in the region's capital, here comes another edition of Ireneusz Zjeżdżałka Wielkopolska Photography Festival scheduled to kick off on 14 October. Unlike most festivals, this one is more of an artistic review than a great joyful fiesta culminating with a party and musical bacchanalia. Don't count on foreign headliners either. Poznań is an important hub on the map of the development of trade and new technologies in Poland. Right here - at Powstańców Wielkopolskich 2 street - Żabka opens a laboratory of ecological innovations enriched with smart solutions, i.e. Żabka Eko Smart. One of the world's first perovskite installations was used in it. The facility was equipped with systems for remote management of lighting and devices in the store (Smart Shop Control), and at the stand with a coffee machine, plates made of coffee grounds and coffee husks were placed. Lockable, insulated with hemp mats, refrigerators save energy, as well as glycol-filled shelves in the freezer.
