Business incubator focused on young tech ideas joins the local startup community
Sigma Software Labs is a Ukrainian startup incubator, based on the product and IT service business synergy. It was created in 2019 with the main goal to support the Ukrainian startup ecosystem and is now expanding its presence to European markets. The company mainly focuses on pre-seed and early stage investments.
Sigma Software Labs is developing as a separate investment company but using the power of the bigger brand - Swedish-Ukrainian IT consulting company Sigma Software, seasoned by tech entrepreneurs with deep industry knowledge built over decades. In just several years, the operation team received 800+ applications, invested $1,4M+ in 15 portfolio companies, and developed 9 sub-projects under the incubator brand.
Sigma Software Labs provides its residents business scalability and growth opportunities through the well-established network of Sigma Software Group 200+ B2B customers in more than 30 locations. Each employee is granted qualified technical mentorship with top IT consulting company developers as well as the opportunity to get investment from both Sigma Software Labs and partner VCs.
Being an active participant of Ukraine's and international startup community, the Sigma Software Labs' team took part in well-known events like Web Summit (Lisbon, Portugal), organized and hosted a pitch session during UK-Ukraine FinTech Summit (Kyiv / London), drove all-Ukrainian startup competition IT_EUREKA 2021 (with main partner - Polish-Ukrainian Startup Bridge) where more than 100 startups applied and won a non-equity grant of $3,500, joined Ukrainian Track panel discussion during Wolves Summit 2022 in Wrocław, and more.
This year they are expanding the IT_EUREKA startup competition up to the international level, engaging creative ideas and new partnerships from Poland as well. More updates are yet to come.
