Consular duty for citizens of Ukraine
Poznan City Hall provided the Consulate General in Wroclaw with a room in Poznan Contact Office on Matejki 50 street, where Ukrainian citizens will be able to arrange matters related to the extension of passport validity, issuance of identity certificates and entering information about children into the passport of one of the parents.
- Ukrainian soldiers are not only fighting for democracy for themselves and for a better life for their children and grandchildren - emphasized Jacek Jaskowiak, Mayor of Poznan. - They are also fighting for democracy in the whole Europe. That is why in Poznan we do everything we can to help Ukraine and its citizens. I am in direct contact with Vitaliy Kliczko, mayor of Kiev and Ihor Terehow, mayor of our partner city Kharkiv, to which we send humanitarian aid.
- All support is very important to us, we thank you for it and ask for further help - said Jurij Tokar, Consul General of Ukraine. - This war is cruel, conducted without principles and without respect for rights. However, it showed who is who in this world - true friends are made in poverty.
Those wishing to use the consular duty can register for an appointment by calling the Poznan Contact Office at 61 646 33 44, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The cityline does not provide information on consular matters. They will be available from Tuesday (5 April) from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
