For many years, Poznań has been successively strengthening its position on the national scene as a strong, thriving centre for the IT industry. The city is distinguished by the availability of a widely qualified pool of professionals, convenient location and high quality of life. Poznań is also a well-known academic centre, allowing employers to choose from a wide range of young talented candidates. Nearly 25 majors dedicated to the IT/ICT industry are offered at seven universities. This year the City also became the first location in Central and Eastern Europe for a quantum hub that will focus on research in the area of quantum computing.

Recognizing the importance of modern technologies, in the City Development Strategy 2020+ we set a goal to develop them because we know how important they are for an innovative economy. The guide also includes tips on city transportation. For dessert (or maybe breakfast or lunch?), the authors of the guide suggest places where you can eat deliciously and feel the true spirit of the city!
