The purpose of the Agency's activities is to implement programs for the development of the economy, supporting the innovative and research activities of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), regional development, export growth, human resources development and the use of new technologies in business activities.

PARP is involved in the implementation of national and international projects, financed from the structural funds, the state budget and the European Commission's multi-annual programs. PARP actively participates in the creation and effective implementation of the state policy on entrepreneurship, innovation and adaptability of human resources, striving to become a key institution responsible for creating an environment that supports entrepreneurs. In accordance with the principle of "Think Small First" - "SME first and foremost" - all the Agency's activities are carried out with special attention to the needs of the SME sector.
