The company is a start-up established to implement new technologies into the world of medicine as much as possible, including physiotherapy in particular. The company has been operating a physiotherapy clinic under the V-MED Clinic brand since mid-2022 and has been a Licensed REHASPORT CLINIC Rehabilitation Centre since May 2023.
At V-MED Clinic, we provide services in general and paediatric physiotherapy, psychology and nutritional counselling. It has surgeries equipped with modern physiotherapy equipment, a sensory room for children with SI disorders, professional massage rooms and a spacious room for physical activities.
Since the clinic's inception, we have paid particular attention to paediatric physiotherapy, engaging specialists in this field. We apply paediatric medicine in the broadest sense, including the rehabilitation of neurodevelopmental disorders from the autism spectrum based on sensory therapy. Among other things, we specialise in the diagnosis and therapy of developmental disorders, sensory integration (SI) therapy and hand therapy, as well as post-traumatic, orthopaedic rehabilitation. When working with children, we are guided by the most modern solutions available in the world, the effectiveness of which is supported by current scientific knowledge (EBM - Evidence Based Medicine).
Therefore, developmental research has been initiated at the clinic towards the development of an innovative tool for screening children for neurodevelopmental disorders on the autism spectrum through the latest imaging technology.
V-MED Clinic's scientific staff already share their knowledge and experience in the field of paediatric physiotherapy and sensory disorders in children by organising regular conferences. These events aim to show a multidimensional view of the above-mentioned problem, enable practitioners, therapists and academic lectures to meet with teachers and parents who build the child's support system on a daily basis. In this way, we promote both therapeutic solutions and other forms of support to pave the way for the proper development of the child.
