Cezary Mazurek, Ph.D. is a Director of Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center (PSNC) affiliated to the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry Polish Academy of Sciences. For 30 years of professional activity at PSNC he has been involved in the development of national and European e-Infrastructure for science as well as in research and development focused on advancement of ICT technologies and their applications in the digital transformation of science, industry and society. He has participated in many national and international R&D projects. His R&D work has focused on integrating various specialised software components into consistent systems for scientific experiments as well as into network services for end users. One of the largest deployments he has led is the national digital library platform dLibra, which supports digitisation and digital access to cultural heritage resources for over 100 institutions in Poland. He launched in 2016 the implementation of HPC4Poland Digital Innovation Hub with the focus on deployment of services based on HPC and HPCC technologies in Polish SMEs and in leading branches of industry. He is currently extending his interests to advanced methods of data collection and analysis in a digital twin model. He is author or co-author of over 100 papers in professional journals and conference proceedings. Since 2020 he is the President of Wielkopolska ICT Cluster.
