SSC/BPO Week 2015 starts on Monday!

To meet the expectations of the shared service centres, the Investor Relations Department of Poznań City Hall initiated the SSC/BPO Week, which is addressed to students of secondary schools. This event will take place on 19 - 23 October 2015.The aim of the project is to show students the opportunities provided by the SSC/BPO sector, to encourage them to undertake education on economy-related majors and to motivate them to learn foreign languages. The project is directed at the students of the last two grades of general secondary schools and technical secondary schools.

The following schools have been invited into the project in previous editions:

  1. Complex of Economic Schools No. 1
  2. Complex of Schools of Commerce
  3. Complex of Schools of Comunication
  4. General Secondary School No.2
  5. Complex of General Secondary Schools No. 2
  6. General Secondary School No.9
  7. General Secondary School No. 17
  8. General Secondary School No. 12

The following companies have been invited into the project in previous editions:

  1. Bridgestone
  2. Carl Zeiss
  3. CenturyLink
  4. Ciber
  5. Egnyte
  6. Franklin Templeton Investments
  7. GSK
  8. IKEA
  9. Lorenz
  10. MAN
  11. Osram 

The project will comprise two stages:

1) conducting workshops in schools - lessons conducted by employees of BPO/SSC companies, where the discussions will involve subjects connected with working in the centres, recruitment, and the qualifications needed on the contemporary job market.

2) open days in the companies participating in the project - a presentation of work in the modern-services industry.
