After the summer vacation, the world of business returned to work, which was visible through the increased number of investors interested in Poznan. We have been vistited by companies conducting activity within various sectors, including foreign companies, what can bring an effect in the form of even several hundreds of new jobs in priority sectors. Talks with investors were also conducted during a conference on 18 October 2017 organised by the Pro Progressio Foundation, titled "New challenges for the Shared Service Centres". In September we were promoting Poznan at the investment forum in Kiev and in October also at the EXPO REAL real estate fairs in Munich and at the Business Forum in Tallinn.

The Investor Relations Department is getting prepared to organizational changes that will come in November. In the next weeks we will move to a new office, located right next to the main building of the City Hall of Poznan - in a modern office building at 1 Za Bramką Street.

There will also be staff changes. At the end of October, after 6 years of work at the position of Head and after 10 years of work in the Investor Relations Department, Marcin Przyłębski leaves office. His position will be replaced by the current Deputy Head - Katja Lõžina. Katarzyna Sobocińska was promoted to the position of deputy director; she was up to now the main Investor Relations Specialist.

The new Head Katja Lõžina will still, as while performing the function of a Deputy Head, deal with issues related to the economic promotion of the City, including the participation in international fairs, business conferences, marketing and promotion of the investment offer of Poznan. The Deputy Head Katarzyna Sobocińska will be responsible for issues related to the direct investor service and contacts with companies.
