The presentation of Poznań at last year's September edition of MIPIM or the October Expo Real fair in Munich increased the interest of investors in the city's real estate offer. This is particularly evident in the tender results, which have been organised by the Real Estate Management Department in 2021. Such key areas as part of the property in the area of Obodrzycka Street and Garaszewo (Franowo), at the Rataje roundabout or the entire property in the area of Olsztyńska Street, were sold. Previously, thanks to the support of the Investor Relations Department, the area near Szkolna Street, where the ORPEA senior citizens' centre is now being built, has been sold.

Diverse offer for new investors

This year in Cannes we will be promoting 17 investment areas. In addition to the previously advertised properties, there are also two new offers in the current offer. Properties for multi-family dwellings and/or services are still predominant - 11 areas. There are also 3 properties with an exclusive service function. One area is for industrial and service development aims. Another area is partly intended for industrial and service purposes, partly as parking lots. On the other hand, the property at Chojnicka Street, which is offered without sale and located in the green wedge, can be an interesting option for the tourism, leisure and sports sector. New locations are Gąsiorowskiego 6 Street and Janickiego Street/św. Wawrzyńca Street.

The special offer of properties owned by the City of Poznań, which will be promoted at this year's MIPIM fair, consists of 4 spaces for future cubature parking lots.

- Despite the difficult international situation, the business is gaining momentum after the pandemic. I am very pleased to be able to meet representatives of the real estate industry from all over the world during the MIPIM trade fair and I am sure that the offer of the City of Poznań will be interesting for investors. The particular reasons are known dates for the next tenders in March and April and preparing for the next terms - says Katja Lożina, Head of the Investor Relations Department.

The current offer of municipal properties for sale can be found on our website. Further details on the planned tenders can be found in the Public Information Bulletin.

Poznań is a European city of the future

On the second day of the MIPIM fair, the fDI European Cities and Regions of the Future 2022/23 gala will take place. In the overall ranking of medium-sized cities, Poznań took fifth place. According to the experts of the Financial Times, Poznań is the second most business-friendly city in Europe.

Moreover, Mayor Jacek Jaśkowiak will also take part in a panel discussion organised by Poland Today as part of the event "POLAND, EUROPE'S MOST RESILIENT ECONOMY - a snapshot of the market today & tomorrow". The subject of the debate is sustainable urban spatial planning, which makes it possible to create 15-minute cities accessible to all social groups. The panel will be moderated by Guy Perry (Vice President of McKinsey&Company). Together with the Mayor Jaśkowiak, representatives of Helsinki and Gdynia (Anni Sinnemäki, Vice President of Helsinki, Katarzyna Gruszecka-Spychała, Vice President of Gdynia) and representatives of two real estate companies - the Danish real estate developer NREP, and the American consulting agency Cushman&Wakefield will take part in a debate.

The real estate and investment fair MIPIM takes place from 15 to 18 March. For the first time since the beginning of the pandemic, the biggest and most prestigious event in the real estate industry is organised on a full scale. Around 20,000 participants from all over the world have confirmed their participation in Cannes. The Poznań delegation has already planned many meetings with representatives of the largest development companies. Cities from all over Europe (including Paris, Amsterdam, Leipzig, Tallinn, Madrid, Budapest) as well as Warsaw, Krakow, Łódź, Katowice and Tricity will present their investment offers during the fair.
